cyber ritual

Cyber ritual is a reimagining of a the ritual object. It is an object that adorns and works with the body’s natural rhythms making them visible, highlighting what connects us as humans.

Cyber ritual was made in collaboration with Cornell Colley for the Cicada Art at a Distance grant 2020.

Cyber ritual is made of copper. Tourmalated Quartz are set into the object symbolizing balance and protection. The quarts are lit by LED lights which are attached to a heart rate sensor and an Arduino.
